Is there anyone familiar with a solid 32-bit server distro that can be installed on a CD? I have an old Dell OptiPlex GX260 and want to try something more capable. Currently I'm using Puppy Linux, but I'd like a system with better server features. USB and DVD boot aren't working, so it needs to be CD-based. Any recommendations? Thanks, Anakwaboe4

Which server type are you interested in? Debian is an option.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll check them out. If anyone knows about other unusual distros still available, let me know. For me, it's more about enjoying the process and discovering new options than focusing on the outcome.

Funtoo discontinued support for 32-bit systems a year ago, yet the stage3 tarballs remain accessible. Enjoy your visit to the Funtoo website!
