I still have a landline and actually use it. Recently, the spam and telemarketer calls have become really overwhelming. People used to have spam blockers or filters, but most of them are no longer available. I have an extra Raspberry Pi nearby and was wondering if I could set up a call blocker or spam filter using it to stop telemarketers. Could someone tell me if this is possible and how to do it?

The Banana Phone project seeks callers to provide a code to prevent robocalls. It functions as an initial step toward blocking such calls. More details can be found at the provided link. Edited October 25, 2019 by wkdpaul
