The Xbox One dongle works well, and using Steam Link in your living room with a 3.5mm audio connection should be fine.

Are you checking if the audio jack on the controller works with the dongle in another room, or if the steam link enables this functionality?

You're referring to the Xbone wireless adapter. It offers impressive coverage and signal strength, allowing me to stream games on a nearby TV without issues.

I connected the dongle to my PC and set the Xbox One controller as an audio output. I’m checking if Steam Link works for streaming directly to my PC and launching games. I also have a small script on my PC that lets me simulate Xbox buttons and sticks for mouse-like control, mainly for audio purposes.
