Hi, your MSI MEG Aegis Ti5 11TD-220CA seems to have a hardware issue. It powers on by itself when plugged in, then shuts off after a few seconds and enters a boot loop. Since it's a custom build from MSI, replacing it might not be straightforward. For your Unraid NAS project, you could possibly move the Nvidia card into your NAS and run Windows there. Regarding connecting a dock over Ethernet for gaming and NAS use, yes, similar setups exist—Linus has done that with compatible docks.

I've seen Linus using a Level1techs thunderbolt/optic dock in the videos. I'm not sure what you require, but you might want to check out Parsec for a software option.

You could simply purchase a motherboard with the matching socket and connect everything yourself, though you'll still need a case and possibly a power supply. This seems like a more affordable alternative compared to using a docking station and fiber cable.

It seems the issue is tied to a specific motherboard design. The video card is positioned at the top, which led to a custom PCIe setup for it. This might explain why finding a comparable board is difficult.
