I usually start with a fresh installation because Windows will retain drivers from the previous system.

It usually functions but isn't certain. A new setup is recommended, particularly after major platform updates. Note that you should select the Quote option for replies to posts you're engaging with, rather than adding your own reply in a quote. The system has been moved to Windows.

You can utilize the existing setup. Simply insert it and handle driver changes, possible reactivation, etc., or you can install the operating system from the ground up on that same SSD. The same device is used, not a replacement one.
