It remains the same. Components conduct electricity when overheating. I can show this with a 2700x boost. During tests with TEC cooling, I achieved Cinebench under 1.2v at 4ghz. Lower temperatures cut leakage, boosting performance. That’s why many use lower voltages. For improved cooling and reduced heat, investing in better heatsinks makes sense.

Winter is coming fast, and high voltage season is here. When it drops to -25 to -30°C, that window opens wide. It’ll be my first winter with 5900X. I’m hoping she’ll let me take over the hardware hub like a pro. Edit: I start getting a little playful around -20°C.

These are my current temperature readings on the TEC. I always want it chilly. Even if I had to settle for ice in a bucket just for a laugh!
