It's tough to explain why my hardware works this way for Reason. I'm struggling with setting the maximum FPS. Is there any software that can handle this? I might need to create some custom code, but I don't want to complicate things.

I noticed the title mentions "minimum" while the description refers to "maximum FPS." Could you clarify which one you're referring to?

G-Sync remains the sole solution, even though it doesn't quite meet your expectations.

Avoid Gsync, opt for NVIDIA Inspector instead.

I'm using mostly 4-way SLI and have a query about whether an inspector can enable a redundant PSU. If it doesn't work, I might need to learn coding...nobody wants that.

What are you asking about? A "ruddendednt Psu" isn't widely recognized, and Nvidia Inspector can help manage your power supply without needing to manually press the button.

Can you adjust the maximum or minimum frames per second? With VSync you can limit your FPS, but I'm not sure if that's possible to set a fixed number. You can't specify a minimum FPS since your device might not be able to keep that level.

You could establish a consistent frame rate that your system is guaranteed to handle perfectly, making min and max identical. A backup power source would always be active and wouldn't require switching. It feels like a fundamental necessity, always on to ensure continuity.
