Since Windows 7 there have been no issues with BSODs, freezes or other problems. It might just be chance.

The machine at work has been running for several years. It's not unusual. If a program needs more memory than available, it will use disk paging smoothly—no sudden crashes. Servers using Windows also function properly.

You’re certain the machine has never crashed with BSOD, freezing, locking up, or stuttering? Those issues occur more frequently than you realize.

based on what I've gone through, I'd probably say no. it might work for someone else, but definitely not for me. my installation began with a clean Windows 8 setup when it first launched. After that, I moved to 8.1 and then 10, but something went wrong and I started experiencing frequent crashes and BSODs. I'm not sure if a new install will solve the issue—it could be related to my motherboard. Still, I plan to try a fresh installation someday.
