I considered switching to Windows 10 instead of reinstalling Windows 7 because my system feels slow. However, I’m concerned about potential performance issues, driver problems, or instability. Anyone know how stable Windows 10 is overall? Are there certain programs that don’t run well on it? Most importantly, can I upgrade to genuine Windows 10 easily—like updating rather than completely reinstalling, without having to wipe everything?

The only information I understand is that you need to set up 344.48 instead of the latest driver.

I recommend restoring Windows 7 temporarily, after which you can upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available. Upgrading should restore system stability and functionality for storing programs and files. If issues persist, backing up your data to an additional drive is a safe alternative.

You cannot reduce the version. You must properly format and reinstall the operating system. Windows 10 has some issues at the end user level (the interface feels stiff). This makes it not very pleasant to use, though it’s getting closer.
