What matters more than the branding is what tasks can be handled efficiently—especially in terms of performance and power consumption. In this context, the M1 (and newer A-series chips) significantly outperforms its class.

The X64 processors work backward with XP 32-bit systems. Unless everyone is using a 32-bit OS, I’m not sure about it... and then we can look at ARM.
