It was just my idea when I got bored. Is Vega iGPU the same as the CPU? From what I see, they’re built from the same silicon, so the process node must match. That means the second-gen Ryzen APUs (3200G & 3400G) have Vega 8 and Vega 11 made on the same 12nm chip? I’m curious if AMD’s claim about mobile Zen 2 APUs being superior is valid—smaller nodes like 7nm could allow higher speeds, or maybe the Vega in Radeon VII performs differently compared to older versions like Vega 56 and 64, just much smaller.
