My friend has the OEM builder disc for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I needed a reinstallation disc for Windows Home Premium 64-bit on my laptop (I told them I wanted to install the OS on an SSD). They included a product key, but now I'm planning to build my own computer. Can I use their OS builder along with my product key to set up Windows on my new build? Your product key applies only to laptops. For OEM licenses not used, it should be acceptable.
