Hey, I hope you're okay. My friend has the OEM builder disc for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I needed a reinstallation disc for Windows Home Premium 64-bit on my laptop (I told them I wanted to install the OS on an SSD). They included a product key, but now I'm planning to build my own computer. Can I use their OS builder along with my product key to set up Windows on my new build? Thanks in advance for any advice, even if it seems a bit confused.

Your product key applies only to laptops. For OEM licenses not used, it should be acceptable.
