Yes, this is definitely accurate.

I’m currently studying IT at university and received a Dream Spark account from Microsoft. I can access all Microsoft products for free. I was wondering if there were any restrictions, like being able to download only once, especially since I’m considering upgrading my brother’s Windows 8 or some friends’ setups.
Not all of them, yet a large number are available. There’s nothing to hide, you may continue downloading the program until your account is canceled (typically two years after completing your course).
You own multiple 2012 R2 servers from Dreamspark. It’s possible you have duplicates or shared access.
It likely mentions in the terms and conditions that you cannot use it on other users' computers. I’m not sure if they actually verify this, but it seems they probably do. If not, they might be facing serious issues or underestimating how others could misuse it.
I don't believe you can limit operating systems to just word and visual basic
You can only receive the keys when the account remains active, as mentioned before, but all the items you receive will continue to function once the account is closed. This is the method I used to get my Windows 8 copy (it works fine even if you don’t pay for it).
I really like Windows 8, it's been hard for me to switch away, but it took me a while to get used to it. Now I'm connected to it.
