Hello, I installed Gigabyte Control Center for my new PC. After that, I noticed some unnecessary files and decided to remove them using the BIOS settings for fan control and SignalRgb for RGB effects. I also uninstalled GCC, which cleaned up most of the junk except for EasyTuneEngineService and GBTECService. Are those still needed? Do they matter or are they not important? Thanks!

It essentially boosts your processor speed without input and can clash with other programs, similar to the infamous MSI Center software. I strongly suggest removing it since it’s just unreliable.

You don’t need to remove all the Gigabyte components. It would let you tweak voltages and speeds through Windows, but it feels like unnecessary clutter. Everything that can be changed is already in the BIOS. Or try software that comes on demand. I haven’t used any of their tools on my Gigabyte boards. On their site, you’ll find dedicated utilities for each board—typically around 15 separate programs if you install everything.
