Are you pairing the 9100F with an older motherboard? It could work better if you just get a used 8700/k or cheaper 9400/9600K, then sell the 9100. This might save you up to $100 compared to spending $400.

I don't believe upgrading to the 5600XT is necessary compared to the 9100F, perhaps adding more RAM would help.
