Hi everyone. Are these two configurations suitable for pairing with the Msi Rtx 2080Ti Seasonic 850W Powersupply, MSI RTX 2080TI and a 1TB SSD in the Fractal R6 define case? Asus rog Pq27q (x2), Sennheiser Gsp and GSX Logitech G910. I also added a 604 i to go, since the CPU performance was lower. *Sorry for the Dutch screen, but you'll see it* These systems are built for gaming, and I wanted the CPU to have full GPU access. Do I need to make any adjustments?
They perform well. Are you involved in content creation? Why do you need capture cards? I highly suggest the AMD build. For pure gaming or even content work, you only require 16GB of RAM. I also advise choosing a 3700x over a 3800x. I own a 3800x, and I purchased it mainly because it was more affordable at the time. They’re identical CPUs, just the 3800x has a slightly higher binned frequency and a marginally faster stock speed.
These two PCs are just for gaming. I checked if I made the right decisions to get the full GPU experience. 16Gb sounds fine, but my current systems use DDR4 32GB, which is okay. I also considered upgrading from the 3800X to the 3700X because it wouldn’t work, and then I thought about it—still okay.
