Yes, it's acceptable to enable Expo and adjust the SOC voltage to 1.2V manually.

I’d still lower the BIOS rating. If they made a mistake here, we can’t say what else might go wrong.

I encountered the same problems in previous versions. The BIOS settings indicate that using Expo will adjust it to 1.35 V. It might be due to the Expo profile rather than an issue with the motherboard itself.

The EXPO profile doesn't manage SOC or VDDIO voltages directly; they're controlled solely by the motherboard. In the image you mentioned, VDDIO reads 1.35V, which is correct. Could you share a screenshot showing the SOC voltage at auto?

It's becoming more confusing now. There used to be another choice besides Expo that allowed manual adjustment; only the SOC voltage was set automatically, now it's about 1.85 V, which seems fine.

The readings don't show a voltage of 1.85V anywhere. VPP reads 1.8V, which matches the JEDEC standard, and SOC is at 1.185V—well within safe limits. It's close enough to 1.2V that it doesn't indicate auto has started.

I switched the optimized platform profiles to Hynix 16GB DDR6000, which adjusted the voltages automatically. The SOC voltage remained unchanged in BIOS—hope these settings are secure for use.

Absolutely, everything seems secure here. Just remember, this isn't the general Expo profile but a specific MSI setup that might affect memory timing.

Expo establishes the SOV voltage at 1.35V, which isn't ideal but seems predefined. You'll need to either adjust it manually or choose different settings. Appreciate your prompt replies and assistance!

I can't send screenshots directly. Could you please describe what you're referring to so I can help you in another way?
