Hello! I'm a tech enthusiast, and I'm curious about whether the American Megatrends display is problematic. If it isn't, would you prefer it to show during startup instead of the brand logo?

American megatrends usually appear when you don't see the motherboard manufacturer's logo. You can disable it in the BIOS, though I'm not sure if that actually turns it off or just hides the screen.

It could be problematic because altering the boot image might compromise system security or stability. Some mobile operating systems allow users to modify the boot process, but doing so improperly can lead to crashes, data loss, or unauthorized access.

I don't understand reading some older discussion about BIOS issues, but your motherboard model is the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite.

Could we find a way to avoid any issues altogether?

You could find an American Megatrends bio online (lol). Alternatively, you might tweak a bio from the Gigagye site—just swap the logo with WinRAR or something similar. I believe ASUS has a tool to change the splash screen, but I’m not sure about Gigabyte. You could explore the BIOS and Gigabyte utilities, hoping for a better result.

Honestly, I have no idea. You’d likely know more than that.

The motherboard I own includes a specification from ASUS in the BIOS stating it's the American Megatrends version.
