You're looking into ways to set up a dual-screen setup using Xbox 360 controllers and exploring emulator programs. To achieve the split screen, you'd need software that supports multi-monitor or dual-screen configurations, possibly using tools like Steam Remote Control or third-party apps. For emulators, the program you mentioned is likely a comprehensive emulator suite—such as NES Emulator, Konami Code, or similar—that organizes and runs multiple emulators on a single machine.

Just link both gamepads and arrange the second one similarly to the first, adjusting the controller 2 settings in the tab. This should work for most emulators.

We and Mrs. enjoyed playing Mario Kart Wii on the Dolphin using a splitscreen setup. It works smoothly with four controllers.

As long as they’re connected or you possess the wireless adapter.

I’ve tested my Xbox One controller with both Project64 and Dolphin, and it works smoothly. I haven’t tried split-screen, so I’m not sure why it might stop there.

Sir, I set up one Xbox One controller and three Xbox 360 wired controllers. It's really fun, especially with Smash Bros Brawl. From what I understand, any console that allows split-screen can also do it on PC.
