If we treat the XB1 as a PC since it uses an x86 base with Windows, then yes! The only project that appears to be in progress is Xenia.

It's similar. The PS3 also doesn't work well.

However, a player achieved P5 on a PS3 emulator at http://www.pcgamer.com/persona-5-is-play...-emulator/. It's noted that the performance isn't at full speed, but it works.

Nothing significant stands out here. PowerPC emulation stalls at the Nintendo Wii level of hardware, still far from the Xbox 360’s capabilities. (Reminder: Xbox 360 uses PowerPC, not x86.) Regarding PlayStation updates, it seems they run a custom setup across various eras—like the PS4 using the same AMD chip as the Xbone but paired with GDDR5 for better graphics performance, giving it a minor advantage. Sony’s approach is more innovative than commonly perceived, especially compared to Microsoft’s more conventional path.

In certain areas it was, yes. In other cases it wasn't very helpful for regular tasks. The Cell wasn't particularly user-friendly for general-purpose programs—it's similar to attempting to run Linux on a graphics card, which did occur to some extent.

it doesn't have to be all-purpose, it just needs to handle games. And with MS's headless turkey syndrome, I'm mainly highlighting the idea that they decided to run an "X"box—DirectX, a feature of their x86 OS—on a PowerPC chip.

It looks like a mix-up of ideas. Sony’s claim about the console being all-encompassing doesn’t really address the technical challenges of adapting APIs for different processors. The real issue isn’t about developers being “dumb,” but about ensuring compatibility across systems.
