basically League worked okay before, but after the latest update I couldn't play at all. Everyone else had the same problem. Within a day they released another patch, but the issue persisted. What's broken now is after picking the champion and hitting the countdown to 0, the client should close and load the game. Instead it just keeps trying without loading and then shows an error. Now pressing the reconnect button does nothing. After restarting the client I see: everything I tried to fix didn't help. - run Lol as admin - do a clean install of League - use Hextech repair tool - add exceptions in firewall for Client, ClientUx, ClientUxRender, the game and crash reports - run the game with Antivirus off - run it with both Antivirus and Firewall off - restart the PC - try to play every few hours. Please let me know if anyone has a solution I haven't tried.

Consider checking the Riot support forums for posting. This issue appears to be a game bug rather than an OS problem, and it might not be resolved by simple adjustments. It's likely Riot doesn't support older game versions for account compliance reasons.

I discovered a solution... You need to set up a registry key to turn off certain Xbox features for fullscreen performance. Also, disable the fullscreen optimization in both the game and client settings (on desktop or via file explorer properties).
