I'm experiencing an issue with the game on my PC. It works perfectly on my Xbox One, but when I launch it here it opens the title screen, waits about ten seconds, and then closes. I'm unsure what to do. I really want to play it on my PC. My system specs are: R3 1300x, Gigabyte 1080Ti, 2x8GB RAM, using GSKILL RipJaw. I think it should work, but I'm not sure how to uninstall and reinstall it (Google didn<|pad|>).
To remove the game, click right-click and choose "Uninstall." Horizon 3 is installed. Horizon 4 will be available soon.
I need to understand the reasoning behind those specifications. Whatever choice was made, the advice from @D13H4RD2L1V3 is confirmed to be effective.
the demo worked smoothly, i received the update driver alert but understood they were recent and just told me to ignore it. i checked the forums and found the issues relate to precision ocx and msi afterburner. it looks like they might be considered cheats despite monitoring functions. closing msi afterburner resolved the problem. if you're interested, feel free to reach out.
You mentioned wanting to try it but can't get the demo running. It displays "Dependant files unavailable" at launch, with error FH001. It seems multiple users face the same issue, yet none of your solutions have resolved it.
I believe Precision and Afterburner failing stems more from the engine disliking those features than the game treating them as cheats.
