Hello everyone! Are there any FPS titles that work well on modest hardware like the i3-8120U? Just need something portable and simple to run. Thanks!

Portability comes with a sufficiently large flash drive. With these capabilities, I’d suggest older systems or games with minimal graphics. CS 1.6 is something I’d highlight. A user shared a Lovely Planet post about an hour ago; it’s currently free on IndieGala and should work well on those specs, though it leans more toward a speedrun experience than a traditional competitive FPS.

The initial problem, I'm not sure about portable though.

Likely Halo 1. It’s hard to run the full Halo MCC from Steam, but the original Halo 1 CE for PC in 2001 works perfectly on a flash drive—it’s quite lightweight. Online play is probably still possible, and LAN access is straightforward too; the single-player version isn’t too disappointing either.

PUBG LITE is played on a basic laptop, and the version works well. You can download it here: https://lite.pubg.com/download/
