It performs decently for emulation on platforms like Citra, Yuzu, and Cemu. It's not significantly lagging behind top-tier CPUs such as the Ryzen 3700X or I7 9700K, and frame rate differences aren't usually huge.

I think a CPU suited for emulation would work well. Emulation relies a lot on single-thread speed. My Ryzen 5 1400 (an older model) manages Dolphin and PCSX2 without issues. Citra is a more challenging emulator (less mature), but that processor should cope. Just ensure the CPU pairs with RAM that runs at a fairly high speed. Ryzen’s speed depends a lot on RAM, especially during code recompilation (what emulators do). I’m not familiar with Yuzu or Cemu, and I haven’t heard of them before.
