They’re generally positive, offering good experiences and valuable insights. Be aware of potential downsides if you’re cautious, but overall the benefits seem strong. Consider your priorities before deciding.

I tried the first one and liked it. I bought the second one because it was very affordable. People said nice things, but the DLCs were bothersome. I ended up getting everything together.

RTS newbie, right? Those games are decent, but I’d suggest Age of Empires 2 or 3 if you’re starting out. The William Wallace campaign can be tough, so it might test your limits. Company of Heroes is a solid choice for those just beginning.

It looks like you're looking for affordable options with all the DLC included, but you're specifically focused on single-player content. You mentioned not being familiar with most RTS games yet.

I'm also here for solo play too. When I started playing the game with the original release, I only found the DLCs that fit the single-player experience.

CoH + DLC works well. Two rounds were fine but not as impressive as the first. We still play together every month for some fun. I think I've accumulated almost 1000 hours in CoH so far. Believe it, an 88mm out sniping a sniper is really funny.

It's cheap enough that I may as well get both as well as the dlc. Looks like there's a franchise bundle that has everything. An 88 is for AA use though? lol

From a logical standpoint, if I were flying, I’d definitely avoid being hit by an 88, just like I’d refuse to be struck by a bunker buster missile.

In CoH a score of 88 covers everything near it.

Playing RPGs in different games feels exciting. The tank is firing at me, almost taking me out. I pull out my RPG and let him hit me. Bang! The dynamite explodes! ? Ah. "Crossing that line means your end comes." ?
