I intend to pair the ASRock RX 5500 XT Challenger 4GB with my ASRock H410M-HDV/M.2, but I’m unsure if my graphics card works with it. If not, are there cheaper options—preferably under $130 USD—that could fit? Thanks for any advice or thoughts.

A PCIe GPU can connect to any motherboard with a PCIe port. That means it should function properly.

Yes, it can work, though the cost is quite high. What’s the intended value of the 5500xt? Did you purchase it for a specific reason?

Don't be concerned, your board budget isn't capped at 130 USD. Any board that works well is fine, as long as it's not too costly. I intend to purchase the 5500xt for roughly 3.149 million IDR, which equals about 225 USD.

Actually, the h410m is likely priced around $80 USD or less. The 5500xt is a bit more expensive, often costing about $100 USD above its MSRP, which isn't particularly good deals.

The cost of the RX 5500XT seems reasonable when compared to local prices, which are around 4 million rupiah or more. Is this setup sufficient, or would an upgrade be necessary?

It's satisfactory. The issue lies not with your area or nation, but with supply and demand dynamics. Offerings are limited, possibly increasing, while interest in GPUs remains extremely high.
