someone posted a hedt combo in the forum's classifieds this morning at a reasonable price, worth looking into too. If you don’t need a super powerful CPU, you can find first and second generation threadrippers at decent prices to add a lot of RAM. I’ve noticed many 1900x/1920x + motherboard combos selling for around 400 dollars.
