I wouldn't, Esport titles represent the latest design options, so you'd be better off with a 5700x3D at $200 USD and any AM4 motherboard.

These boards probably won’t handle a 9900K either. The most affordable option I’d consider is $100-150, and beyond that you’d likely need AM4 or even AM5.

Definitely not. A 12600k board would cost less than $300, and it would run significantly quicker than the 9900k version.

Considering the chance OP didn’t specify DDR4 RAM in standby, a DDR4 platform would be optimal. It stands out as the 5700x3D option versus any LGA 1700 DDR4 configuration. It’s really strange it costs just $200 today.
