Thanks for the details. This really helped me save time fixing things. However, connecting the Pro 2 to work with retroarch on a Linux PC remains challenging. Most controls function in the controller configuration, but the joystick direction buttons (even when visible in jstest) don’t respond correctly, and nothing works during gameplay. I wasn’t aware of jstest for testing controllers before. This was a big aid to my troubleshooting. Appreciate your feedback—it’s disappointing after successfully using the SN30 Pro without issues. Hope this info helps others who might encounter the same issue.

It might be a typical retroarch issue where the system fails to recognize a controller unless connected once the game launches. You could attempt this if you haven’t already tried.

I own this controller and have relied on it for four years. Initially, it was mainly for my Nintendo Switch, but after selling it, I mostly used it for Linux gaming. It has withstood the intense use from Monster Hunter titles.
