The 11th offers better single-core performance than the 10th, but the 10th provides more multi-core capabilities thanks to the 10C/20T architecture in Comet Lake. Rocket Lake was originally meant for Intel 7 but was later reimplemented at 14nm, which reduced its performance by about 2 cores.
i currently have an issue with my main rig and so until i fix it (which could take a while because i am waiting for a specific part) i am rigless if not for the spare parts that where lying around. problem is the only spare i had was a 11gen cpu and a z490 board that for some god forsaken reason seams one of the only modells zhat doesnt have 11gen support. but getting a complerly new board just to wait out seams stupid so i was gone think if i can get them to work somehow. i then found out that there where a 11gen bios but ... well you get the rest ...
Have you attempted to update the BIOS to a newer version and then tried launching the system with the 11th generation? I noticed a note about "Improving Device Compatibility" in BIOS 2201.
I managed to get it running with just slots 2 and 4 and a GPU, but I’m hoping someone can share a BIOS from 2002 for this board.
