I just reinstalled Windows because my laptop was becoming slow and had issues, but after everything was back, I noticed a small indicator for large text areas. I asked r/techsupport, but they didn’t have any information. Could you help me if you’re familiar?

Check if your mouse cursor is too big. https://www.howtogeek.com/273878/how-to-...in-windows If not, it likely relates to screen or cursor adjustments. You can explore the settings under Control Panel (use Start Search).

Hey there. This appears to be an Ease of Access adjustment. To bring the text cursor back to its original dimensions, navigate to Settings. Choose Ease of Access, then pick Cursor & Pointer from the left sidebar. In the Change Cursor Thickness section, move the slider fully to the left. Verify the cursor in the search box once more. The size should now be smaller.

Thanks, it was quite bothersome when I tried to open a Windows app. Your help made a big difference.
