Checking if a Ryzen 5 3350H is suitable for business use and its long-term reliability is wise. Comparing it to a Ryzen 7 3750H or Intel options will help you decide. Consider your needs and budget before choosing.

Are you referring to something similar to Excel or Word? We don't have enough information to confirm.

If the 4000 series is available and APUs perform exceptionally well, I wouldn't consider it.

Would you like a more powerful processor next time, just in case?

It's a BGA soldered CPU and you can't upgrade it later. For "business" purposes, just consider a Zen 2 laptop as suggested by @jaslion.

For laptops, it's wise to have extra storage or components beyond what you need right now. Consider factors like RAM and storage capacity as well. Aim for at least 8GB of RAM and ensure the device includes an SSD.

I haven’t purchased anything yet, so I’m just curious—should I consider an Intel i5 9th Gen for future needs? I’m not sure if a Ryzen 5 3550H will last another five years.

It's only the CPU, and I'm worried about whether it will still work in five years or more.
