I recently performed a clean installation a few days back. My RAM appears normal according to Memtest and Windows memory tests, and everything seems consistent across the same batch.

My computer has been acting up for a whole year now. It might be its second year, so even after two Windows updates it hasn’t improved much. If the latest update still doesn’t help, I’m not sure how long I should wait before trying to roll back to a stable version. I ran the SFC tool and everything worked fine. My PC also freezes whenever I idle, play games, or browse the web, even without any specific action. It could be a conflict from multiple programs, but I didn’t uninstall them one by one to see which caused the issue.

If lowering the frequency to the standard 2133MHz resolves the issue, the answer changes. Dispose of the four pieces and buy a set of two. For the highest value, offer the four as two pairs.

Several folks shared similar experiences, so I’m sure you understand that Qvl isn’t significant. This spec matches my previous RAM, which worked fine on Qvl and kept giving me issues, so I switched here. Now it’s running smoothly without any problems.

Are you removing anything unnecessary? Like extra disks fans, controllers, even the plugs on your front IO panel. Leave out USB devices except keyboard and mouse. If you have others, test them with different keyboards and mice in various USB ports. I've noticed disks causing freezes too, plus issues with controllers, shorted front IO, or USB devices. If everything is unplugged yet problems persist, figure out what's still affecting it. Change just one thing at a time. Use HWinfo64 to check for any warning signs on the CPU, GPU, or other components. It should also log live hardware errors in Windows. If possible, try using a Linux distribution and see if issues remain. If not, your OS disk might be the problem. But hwinfo64 should be able to read any fault counts from the drive.
