I already chose this joystick hotas https://www.komplett.no/thrustmaster-hot...ick/649014. Curious if pedals will function properly and whether it works with hotas. If it does, I’d look into the alternative link you shared for your thoughts.

They have a solid stick, really good. If those pedals connect through USB separately, that would work fine. However, unless you're aiming to cut costs and plan for a steering wheel later, it's better to go with this instead of the car pedals. The steering wheel will have some drawbacks compared to these Warthog flight sticks. Both sound like they’re of lower quality in comparison.

I believe you're asking about wheels versus pedals for space travel, wondering if wheels wouldn't be necessary at all.

then search for rudder pedals instead of those designed for wheels like those. Car pedals will have varying tensions across all three, which is probably intentional. Rudder pedals function similarly to a seasaw—you push one end and the other is pulled down—making it hard to move each pedal in the same direction. This would be counterproductive with car pedals.

I have three options to consider for StarCraft II. Each setup has its own features and strategies. Here’s a detailed overview of the three you mentioned:

1. **Rudder Pedals**
- Focuses on precise control and quick reflexes.
- Suitable for players who enjoy tight turns and fast maneuvers.
- Offers a balance between speed and accuracy.

2. **Combat Rudder Pedals**
- Emphasizes aggressive playstyles with powerful inputs.
- Ideal for players who prefer heavy, direct control.
- Can be more challenging to master but rewarding in competitive matches.

3. **Pedal Combinations**
- Allows customization based on personal preference.
- Encourages experimentation and finding what works best.
- Flexible setup can adapt to different game scenarios.

Which one aligns best with your playstyle?

I've come across a point that's given me some pause (just read, not lived), especially during extended gameplay sessions like those in SCs PU. The fixed seating position from the pedals can become uncomfortable over time. I'm curious about trying it out myself before deciding against it, though it also makes sense.

I get it and I'm in agreement, but it's okay not to use every word all the time. It should be fine :L
