You're still happy with your PC and its performance? If yes, think twice before switching. You'll likely notice improved results in non-gaming activities. However, at 1080p it's roughly 15% faster on average—about 20-30 frames per second depending on the games. On Planetside 2, you'd see around 175 FPS on 1080p High and 195 on 1440p High, climbing to about 250 with a 9800x3d. Keep in mind that the 9800x3d uses a 5080 instead of a 4080 like the 5800x3d, which means the 1440p difference will be smaller—perhaps 25-30 FPS more than expected. In general gaming, the 9800x3d usually offers a 30 to 40% boost, with at least a 3% improvement, though results vary by title. Overall, your system is solid, but if you really want upgrades, expect around 20-30% better performance in most cases.

Are you struggling? You got high end AMD GPU and 3D cache CPU, I'd say that's pretty solid setup already. Unless are you trying run newest 2025 AAA unoptimized games that came out in last 4 hours and can't wait few weeks for little bit of optimization updates?
