I realize this might seem like a bargain or a compromise, but using Windows 10 unactivated could mean giving up some personalization. It’s mainly about getting the OS without paying, though you’ll have to accept reduced privacy settings. This approach works as a temporary fix rather than a full activation, and it does let you install Office Insider for added value. It’s interesting to see if others do this and how they experience it.

Follow the slow or release ring and everything will work. Microsoft admitted they let users try Windows 10 for free by testing it for them earlier. Just keep in mind, insider versions end after a time, so stay current.
