In a situation of urgency, it might function temporarily, but it will probably cause significant issues and could severely limit performance. It’s far too complex for a CPU to handle effectively, even with minimal processing.

You're concerned about paste leakage. The same manufacturer offers thermal protection, but if you need a solid pad, consider Kryosheet or PTM. The regular Minus pads aren't powerful enough for a desktop CPU.
