This seems unlikely since the picture was taken before securing the AIO, suggesting it likely spread more due to pressure from the cooler and heat between components.

A moderate amount works best. As long as it's not too little, it won't spill once you secure the cooler. For Ryzen, creating a small central indentation is often recommended for optimal results.

I'm surprised it's not worse now. I was thinking about opening the PC for the third time today, but I don't have the patience or the right mindset. So I'll leave it like this. The temperatures look good: around 47°C idle, 74°C in a Cinebench run, and about 85°C after 40 minutes of realbench. Hope everything stays stable.
