Short answer: yes. do you already have the board and cpu? if no, i would get a different board and this one is overpriced for what it offers. and as for the cpu, the 3300x is better in almost every workload unless it's purely multi threaded. and there's the 1600 af which is just a 2600 but lower binned and is usually cheaper. (if you can find one).
