It seems the ElGato site recommends a specific i7 processor for the 4K60 Pro. I’m wondering if an i5 7600K would work instead. Since my system already has a 1050 Ti and meets the graphics requirements, should I be okay with that? Thanks for any advice before waiting another two weeks for a response.

It should work well as long as it isn't trying to run multiple games at once. The advice seems focused mainly on CPU encoding, so the aim is likely to optimize performance for single-player or local play.

It should be your second PC for streaming. You intend to run at 1440p with 144Hz and then scale it down to 720p at 60Hz. It won’t be handling anything else, so it should work just fine. Appreciate the assistance!

Absolutely, that makes sense. I’d probably aim for 900P 60, though that’s my usual choice.

I usually increase the speed to 6000, but the encoders become distorted at lower speeds, so I go for the maximum they accept.
