I have an Intel DH61CR and am considering upgrading to an Xeon 1220. I found a budget option, but the supported models list only includes 1220v2 and 1220L. The i5 2400 seems compatible, though I’d like more opinions before deciding.

I don’t see a clear explanation for the issue. The V2 uses Ivy Bridge and is closer to an i5-3450, yet the H61 chipset works with both. Should we proceed?
