You should probably get the BIOS updated through a retailer since your motherboard isn’t compatible with the latest chips without an official update. The Gigabytes site suggests checking with your specific model for support options.

They usually come with the latest BIOS. A few include a label indicating Ryzen 3000 compatibility. If it wasn’t included, contact the seller or local shop to have it updated. MSI’s MAX boards are delivered with Zen 2 built in.
