Initial thought on safely reducing clock speed from a BIOS overclock with Overdrive. It's unlikely to be severe, but if a game like Vermintide gets unusually hot, it might be better to lower the speed slightly instead of shutting everything down completely, avoiding any odd behavior.

I adjusted the overclock settings manually. During summer tests on Haswell chips, I had to lower some of them to compare performance with other models. I gathered data at 3.2Ghz, 3.4Ghz, 3.5Ghz, 4.0Ghz, 4.2Ghz, and 4.5Ghz. This required reducing the voltage along with the multiplier.
