You're checking if you can get a free 16GB RAM upgrade alongside your existing 32GB system. Since it's the same manufacturer and you're using the same speed (3200MHz), it should work smoothly. Just confirm the compatibility and ensure the new RAM is included in your purchase.

It's possible, though not ideal. I use various RAM modules—different speeds and brands. What it does is cap higher speeds at lower ones. It might not be the best approach, but if it helps, it's fine.

I’m uncertain how anyone can provide a clear answer without details about the CPU or the RAM specifications. Could you clarify the processor model and the memory kit options you’re considering? Understanding these factors will help determine what adjustments might be necessary. In general, adding more RAM can work well, but compatibility and performance trade-offs are important to consider. Also, think about whether 48GB of RAM would be beneficial—especially if you prioritize speed over sheer capacity, such as for gaming versus video editing. The key is matching the hardware capabilities rather than focusing solely on total memory size.

Ensure you have at least 32GB of RAM for your needs. If upgrading from a 16GB model, consider discarding the smaller 16GB unit. Using only two 16GB units won’t improve performance and may waste resources.
