I'm purchasing a school PC and curious if I can use IETU to boost the graphics performance. Concerned about the thermal management, I plan to install a dedicated water cooling block if feasible. I haven't received the machine yet, so I'm just asking if anyone has any advice.

You're wondering why you want to boost performance beyond normal limits. It's worth noting that your CPU might notice the changes, so consider installing an overclocking utility once the system is built.

It seems you're discussing potential limitations of the system. Most likely, it will only handle voltage control or similar tasks. Since your CPU isn't a K version, overclocking probably won't be possible. The integrated GPU can outperform regular GPUs, which might explain why you're considering overclocking. Unless the institution is equipped with an x470 or x570, I wouldn't be convinced

Can it even be possible? It's worse than an uhd750, honestly, and the uhd750 matches a Vega 3 with a GPU for just $50 on an APU.

I’m not sure about that, but I can suggest a few ideas like using a USB power bank or a portable charger.

Sorry z590, the chipset names seem to be getting mixed up but the issue is still clear. Some mobile chipsets work with an OCABLE setup while others don’t. I’m not sure why it doesn’t install on my B250.
