I’m aiming for something really unique. I discovered a budget deal on an old server and have the necessary components. I plan to build a system with these specs: two Xeon X5650 processors, 48GB of RAM, and dual GPUs. My goal is to experiment with a non-traditional setup—using a triple Monitopr configuration. I want to switch between Windows and Linux seamlessly, without restarting the machine, and also adjust my keyboard and mouse settings dynamically. Is that feasible?

Using a hypervisor such as VirtualBox is feasible. KVM could work in a distribution like Ubuntu, though that would be better discussed on a real Linux forum.

It could require changing everything each time I switch operating systems, and I’d need Windows installed constantly. Plus, I’m unsure if Synergy works well with games.
