I aim to create a portable folder for emulators and ROMs/ISOs so you can play saves and access them across different systems. I have a Unraid NAS setup and wondered how well running the executable from there, along with PS3 game ISOs, would work when accessing them from the NAS but having the PC do the actual processing. With only a 1Gbps network connection.

It should work just fine to download the game from the NAS using a 1Gbps connection. It’s similar to playing it from an external hard drive connected through USB, though probably even quicker than that.

Great, let me know when you're ready—I'll handle the update then. Your concern about switching between devices and losing saves is common, so we'll make sure it's smoother.

Would be really useful. I'm aiming for similar experiences. (It seems selling them hasn't been done yet.)
