It's interesting to explore if an emulator can mimic the performance of an actual SNES. Could finding a method help reduce lag and make it feel more authentic? Thanks!

It's unlikely to face such issues with a SNES emulator, and you haven't noticed any delays.

No, I don't have access to any native SNES hardware.

It seems unlikely; the only way to cut down on lag is by adding more hardware.

It's not too tough to run an SNES emulator. My phone does it easily, and even my Dell Venue 8 Pro can manage a PSP emulator—though the speed isn't great.

I don't fully grasp what you're referring to. In some ROMs with the SNES 9x Emulator, performance can slow down as if running on original hardware, causing FPS to fall below 60. I can play GTA V at high settings while maintaining 60 FPS and other games without issues. What I'm asking is whether it's possible to allocate more RAM, CPU power, GPU resources, or similar adjustments so the emulated game consistently stays above 60 FPS. If not, I'd appreciate understanding why.

You'll likely need to tweak the settings a bit. Many people use emulators for speedruns. You can check forums like Reddit or speedrun archives for tips.
