You're facing an issue with Windows 7 installation on your old laptop. The disc image creator is blocking the process, and you're getting an error message about contacting the manufacturer. It might be best to try booting from a USB drive with a different version of Windows or using a recovery tool like Windows Recovery Environment. If that doesn't work, consider checking if the hardware supports the installation or seeking further technical support.

I’d look for a Windows 7 ISO and try Rufus or DiskPart—its built-in tool for Windows—to create a bootable USB. Test it and handle any issues that arise. Here’s a link for using DiskPart: https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-...ty?lang=en Once you’ve done that, extract the files from the ISO and simply copy them to your USB drive, then see if it boots.

You can obtain the ISO file for Windows 7 from the provided link. The recommended method involves using a specific tool to create bootable media, which I often rely on when preparing old Windows installations. After acquiring the ISO, simply launch the tool, choose the file, and select your desired USB or DVD format before starting the process.

I receive the ISO file. For Windows 7, you need to input the key to access it.

To obtain the ISO, you need to input the Windows 7 key, which caused the issues I encountered.

Your access code might remain active, so you can reset the phone's security settings to enable use. It's a bit tedious, but you'll need to enter the code into the connected device.

Checking the details matches a Microsoft activation center page. It appears to be related to licensing and activation for customers.

I realize I didn't grasp the problem properly. Sorry, I forgot you could use your key to obtain a Windows ISO from Microsoft. Unfortunately, Ghost is correct—you need to use the phone system. The other options are either torrenting or searching online, though the latter should be done carefully. The best approach would be the phone system.

It's an older setup, but if it functions, keep it as it is. For issues, explain the details and we'll assist.

The processor is clogged with background tasks, and there’s a lot of stuff I don’t own. My grandfather handed it to me, and it’s set to 50% on the desktop. A single tab in Chrome can push it up to around 80%.
