We think we won't get a clear response for a while, but Connie seems like a solid transporter rather than a mining vessel. I'm looking forward to the updates on the Freelancer's new work so it can be a good mining partner.

So far there is only 1 Dedicated mining ship and its a BIG ONE, The RSI Orion. As for Exploring, The Aquila is a nice but pricey choice, a smaller option is the Freelancer DUR or even smaller, the 315p. Can´t say much about the PU more then already said, but if mining is your Forte your welcome omboard My Orion allthough im a "jack of all trades" person so i wont be only doing mining.

Sure, I'm happy to help. It sounds like you're considering joining an offer if your group gets affected before the launch. You also mention preferring to focus on building resources rather than relying heavily on currency in this game. Did you hear anything about plans to bring back the Orion?

It's reasonable to expect it will return again. Unlike the frigate, all the newer vessels (especially those in the new wave 3/4 line) aren't restricted to limited runs. This implies a few months later, at some point, they'll reappear. The first release will likely be a concept version, followed by another round a few times that distance away. The initial concept version will be the most affordable, then when they market it as a 'sale,' you might find either the same price with reduced insurance or a higher price with less coverage.
